How We Grow

Everything from the rabbit-proof fencing and native hedging which surrounds Frog Lane Flower Farm to the well-rotted farmyard manure we use to mulch our plants has been sourced from about a quarter of a mile away!

Our peat-free compost is from a local supplier near Tetbury, whose agent lives at the bottom of Frog Lane, and even our potting benches are made of recycled scaffolding planks. We make a point of only using things that can be composted, are already recycled, or are capable of recycling.

You can rest assured that we have done our utmost to reduce our carbon footprint so that our broad and ever-changing variety of seasonal flowers and foliage has been sown, propagated and explicitly grown to suit our local growing conditions.

We provide excellent stem length and carefully condition all our cut flowers to give you maximum vase life.
